Call for Abstracts (Closed)

Participation in the 1st International Conference on Health Services Delivery Management (1st CHSDM) is open to all individuals interested in the field of health services delivery management. The Scientific Programme Committee of the Conference welcomes the submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the Conference. All the abstracts accepted will be published in the PDF format and provided to all participants and posted on the Conference website.

Important date
Call for abstracts: 1 March – 31 August 2009

Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentations and accepted will be published and distributed at the Conference. Accepted abstracts for presentation and selected posters will require a registration.

Abstracts sent by fax or e-mail cannot be accepted.

Instruction for Authors
1.The abstract must be written in English and contain a brief, clear statement of conclusion.
2.The title of the abstract should be brief and identify the nature of the study.
3.The first author must be the presenting author.
4.The abstract body should be 250 words and must contain:
● A sentence stating the purpose of the study

● A brief description of methods if pertinent
● A summary of results
● A statement of conclusions reached
● Reference
5.Unusual or special abbreviation must be defined before they appear in the text.
6.Author details should not appear on the abstract.

Upon Submission
In an attached letter you should identify
1. The authors name, title, organization and affiliations personal information.
2. Detail for co-author's.
3. Please specify the presentation style you prefer: Oral or Poster presentation.
4. Select a category or a theme from conference program.

Presentation Styles
1. Oral presentation
Must be conducted using a PC within 12 mins, and further 3 mins for question and discussion.
2. Poster Presentation
● Poster should be brought to the Conference and not mailed, as the Organizing Committee cannot be responsible for loss or mishandling.
● Presenters are responsible for posting and removing their own materials
