Dear All,

As you know the International Conference on “Health Services Delivery Management” was successfully organized on 14–16 October 2009 in Phitsanulok, Thailand, by Naresuan University’s Faculty of Public Health and the University of New England, Australia, with support from several other agencies and your active participation. And just before the closing of the Conference, the Conference Organizing Committee presented the draft Phitsanulok Declaration on 16 October 2009 which is regarded as the first opportunity in the South-East Asia and Asia-Pacific Regions to emphasize the importance of leadership and health management as essential precursors to effective health system strengthening and the achievement of high quality health care for all. The draft Declaration was endorsed by all the participants and signed by key partners at the Conference. However, it was agreed that the draft Declaration should be revised/finalized by incorporating the comments or suggestions provided by the participants as well as others concerned.

Thus, in order to help us finalize the Declaration, we urge that you all kindly comment on the draft Declaration by emailing to health@nu.ac.th. Your kind suggestion or comment by 15 November 2009 would be appreciated.
